This ambience is the lobby on the street level of a medical office building in honolulu, hawaii. You can hear people entering the doors and catching one of the elevators, a woman talking, and traffic passing by on the building's driveway. I recorded this with the built-in microphone of a lenovo laptop.

This is from my royal typewriter that i picked up at the thrift store for 5 bucks. It works great and i use it quite a bit to write letters with. I love the feel and sound of the keys. This sound was recorded in the upf's bar. It was recorded using a zoom h2 portable recorder, placing the recorder next to a coffee machine when somebody was ordering a coffee. We can hear all the tipical sounds of the machine like entering the coins, dropping water, heating the coffee. . .

Perception of the sound generated when coins are inserted to the coffee-machine. This sound has benn recorded using the zoom h2 handy recorded next to the coffe machine of tallers of tanger building.

A child is typing on a typewriter and its father reads the nonsense. Recorded during "o. S. T sounwerkstatt" at "fahrender raum" in munich, germany.

An antique underwood no. 11 typewriter, ca. 1925. Sound was recorded on a zoom h4 in a sound booth. However, it didn't have a bell or a platen, so the key is hitting the platen of another typewriter from the 1970s. Audio cleaned up in audacity. Please use freely! i found a lack of high-quality single-key sounds.

Inflating a medium sized balloon. The air is let out of it a couple of times, so you get a good raspberry sound too.

Crackling chewinggum in a mouth of a child. More pouring out of the paperbag into the mouth at the middle of recording with chewing. Different mouth formants. Recorded with zoom h4n at 44,1 khz, 16 bit, stereo. Without compression. Only cut low end at about 500hz to take away a little bit of breathing and denoised some backgroundnoise for more direct sound.
